Thanks for the follow-up.

I should clarify that formatting restrictions can be circumvented rather easily by someone who knows what he/she is doing: Create a new document and then import the restricted document via the Insert File dialog box, and you will be able to edit all aspects of the new document. (To display the dialog box, click the Insert tab, click the arrow on the Object button, and then click Text from File.)
