Are there any recommended free add-ons/plugins that act as advanced grammar checkers or preferred modern usage checkers that anyone on the forum can recommend?

I'm not sure what I'm looking for specifically, but a Ms Word user at school said he uses some sentence checkers that don't come with the standard Ms Word, but couldn't remember what it was called.


Does anyone have any recommendations?
