IMO, you need to format your doc.

Like I said, I can delete the section break, but as soon as I do, the pages jump to four pages because the format of the entire doc is off.

Not sure why you need the section breaks as it seem a page break would work fine.

Also, in the Areas of Expertise, it seems like that should be a table instead of tabs mixed with the spacing bar the space bar. After you build the table you can hide the borders.
