I have a PowerPoint with attachment embedded uploaded to a SharePoint Server. However, the users only have read-only access right. Whenever they open the PPT directly on the server, the attachment cannot be opened as the PPT is opened in read-only mode.

Is there any solution apart from asking the user to download the PPT to their local computer and open in edit mode in order to get the attachment opened?
