Search for Autonumbered Headings
Headings. Sorry for the confusion. Headings - Often used with automated outline numbers to identify that one or more paragraphs belong together to make a point. In the example below there are two headings. I would like to be able to use the Find menu item to to locate 3.2.4.1.5.6 in my document. Word, at least by default, does not recognize the heading numbers because they are automated. Ironically, if you have cross-references in your document to the heading number, Word will find those.
EXAMPLE:
3.2.4.1.5.6 How To Make Word Do Something Consistently
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
