I know that cross references can be used but that does not solve the problem. It is interesting that the cross reference heading numbers will be found using a FIND but the original automated heading number will not.

I am trying to use FIND to locate ALL occurrences within my document of the outline numbers that are generated automatically by Word on the headings in my document.
