Hi,

I want to add Wingding symbols to Google maps.

What I do - step 1:
screen shot of Google map
convert to .pdf
copy from .pdf into Word (becomes an object/ picture in MS Word)

What I want to do (and doesn't work) - step 2:
screen shot of a Word page with a few Wingding symbols on it;
convert screenshot into .pdf;
copy selected wingings from .pdf to Word; i.e. onto Google map (now a picture on a Word page)

Problem:
In Word: the google map = object/ picture falls apart when I drag a second picture (wing ding symbol converted to a picture) on top of it.

Any suggestions how I can put a Wingding symbol on top of a picture (google map) in MS Word ??
