Default Generate tree structure, tool?

Hi, I'm currently putting together a rather long presentation and I want my future listeners to be able to easily see things like: how much is left? where are we now? how many slides until next chapter? and so on.

Is there any tool that can be used to generate graphical tree structures that I can put in the upper right corner? Preferably using a complete presentation as input, allowing some configuration, and then giving X images as output (where X is the total number of slides in presentation). Something similar to a folder structure with files, but perhaps in a horizontal direction instead (see attachment). Is this maybe already included in Powerpoint?

I have done this manually once before, but it's not very flexible and others must have scripted this already.

Thanks,
Markus
