You stated the domain is no longer active. Does this mean you cannot configure your outlook client to that old email address?

Was this email address a gmail or hotmail account?

As far as the removed .PST file. If the .PST file was removed recently and you have system restore activated on your machine you could revert back to the date you removed the pst file, save it to say a CD and revert your PC back to its normal state.
