I created a hammock task with a Copy > Paste Special, Paste Link approach. I can tell the OLE links have been copied over to the start date and end date of the hammock task with the little gray triangle in the bottom right corner. However, when the end date of the underlying tasks moves, the hammock task is not moving along with it.

All the task types are Fixed Units. The Effort Driven box is not checked.

As best I can tell at this point, it seems whenever I Paste Link the date into the hammock task, the hammock task is being set with a "Finish No Earlier Than" constraint. Then, when the end date of the underlying tasks get moved out, the hammock task is still looking at that "Finish No Earlier Than" constraint and is not updating. I feel like I'm missing something basic. Let me know if you know the answer.
