It's not clear that you need a mailmerge for this. Regardless, you need to do some more work on your Excel workbook, first. For starters, you have some people attending multiple venues for the same course and others missing out on that course. Formulae can also be used to show which venue each person is attending for a given course - assuming they aren't attending multiple venues for the same course!
