No version of Microsoft Office is available for free. As a student, you are unlikely to need any of the features that have been added to Office since the 2010 version - which you say you already have. Besides which, Office 2016 has been much more prone to giving problems than Office 2010.

As for Adobe products, you should contact Adobe. Again, I doubt Adobe would be giving away copies of CS 6 - whether as an upgrade or otherwise.
