Default How to get all incoming mail to the same folder in Outlook 2016

Hi - I'm sure that some guru on here can help me. I have just installed Outlook 2016 and have set up my email using the imap settings. I notice that it is very different from what I was used to with POP3 accounts. For a start, it has created various folder trees. In addition to the Favourites tree, it has also created a new tree for each of the email address in the mail account list. First question - how do I get all incoming email to arrive into the same folder rather than to the addressee's folder (if you know what I mean) which I prefer and was the case under the POP3 system. Obviously, I would also like all sent items to go into the same Sent folder similarly.

The second anomaly is that a recent email to me was put into the inbox of the Favourites tree rather than in my own. Can anyone explain how that would happen?

I hope I have explained all this satisfactorily, and I would be grateful for any help anyone can give.
