IMAP - Being sure OUTLOOK updates all folders
I use IMAP for my mail, and look at it from several sources. ONE of the sources is a WEBPAGE provided by GODADDY.
It works fine.
I use OUTLOOK on several machines as well.
The machines SHOW the folders that exist on the webpage, and if I click on them, one at a time, they "populate".
But I am concerned that if I change the contents of a folder on the IMAP Webpage, (move an email into one or move to a different one, etc.) that OUTLOOK is not updating those folders until I actually go back and click on them...one at a time. This causes a problem with searches and such because I am concerned that they don't stay up to date...which is the very IDEA of IMAP sync.
How can I MAKE CERTAIN that OUTLOOK actually updates all the folders and subfolders every time I click on SEND/RECEIVE all folders? I am not certain that it does.
Thank you,
