  1. You can tell Word to display the hyperlink style. Manage Styles.
  2. You cannot have more than one automatic hyperlink style.
  3. Word will use the followed hyperlink style for any hyperlink which has been used.
  4. You can modify these styles but you can only have one of each.
  5. You can apply a different (non-automatic) character style to hyperlinks after the hyperlink is created. That will override the hyperlink style that is applied automatically. However, when the link is followed, that will trigger application of the followed hyperlink style.
  6. You can have the hyperlink and followed hyperlink style formatted the same.
