I can only speak to Visio 2010 but, this is quite simple and, I would assume, apply to all versions. The answer is NO. Stencils will only contain what you create and the creations cannot be edited inside the stencil...you would have to recreate either the one inside the stencil or insert another 'new' size to the stencil.
