It errored "intsead" for me, too, while I was typing the question here. But I use Firefox, which doesn't share dictionaries with Outlook; I wouldn't expect them both to accept the same mistake. Truthfully, I didn't check Outlook's spellcheck setting because I'm utterly confident Outlook marks other typos—so spellcheck must be turned on, right?
But I use two computers for three different clients. Maybe—just maybe—it's been off on this laptop and I didn't notice, and my confidence that it's on is because my other computer marks typos. Won't hurt to check. But seriously I don't expect to find it's that easy.
I can't look right now; I'm just checking mail one last time before packing the car for an all-day trip as far as the Mississippi, and the other laptop, the one on which this occurred, is already taken apart. But tomorrow or Monday.
