Can you embed a quicktime movie into a word document?
I have a coworker who was wondering if it is possible to embed a movie (in this case, a quicktime movie) into a word document. She asked me to create a link to the movie. I was able to do that, but it occurred to me that in order for that to work, the actual movie had to be on the same machine as the link/document. If I understood her correctly, she wants to include a link in the document, and then have the movie play when it is clicked on.
Am I right about my assumption that the movie and document have to be on the same machine? Or is it in fact possible to include a movie in the document itself and be able to play it with click, and if so, can anyone tell me how to do that? |

Hi
It should be perfectly acceptable to embed a quicktime movie in a Word document. Choose Insert Menu Select Object Select Create From File tab Click on Display as Icon Click OK The movie should now be embeded in your document and by double clicking on the icon the movie will run. Good luck. Tony(OTPM) |
