Question How to control the distance above tables as we do for images?

How to control the distance above tables as we do for images?

please, see the attached images that show my question

to control the distance above images, i put all the images in one style named "Images" where the above spacing is set to be 20pt.

if we do the same for the distance above the table, then this doesn't work because the content of the table are paragraphs!!!

then how to set the space above the tables? i don't want to use the distance after the previous paragraph to set this distance.

regards

Jamal

Hi Jamal,

If you format the table's text wrapping layout as 'around', you get the option to set the space before & after just like you do with a shape. If you want to, you can prevent text wrapping around the table by using the 'positioning' options to increase the left & right distance from surrounding text.
