Default Style always to far right

Hi,

I have a little problem which bugs me for years and I hope to find salvation now.

I have a word style in a template which should be aligned left like this. I save it.

Every damn time I open the template it is more to the right like this:

This happens on different computers and different templates even on normal.dotm.

Can you explain why? What can I do?

Are you actually updating the template - or just a document it's based on. To update a template, you need to either open the template for editing or, when saving the Style update, check the 'New documents based on this template' option in the Manage Styles pane.
