Default footnotes management

HELLO

suppose we have a main text with about 14000 footnotes. for some reasons we have to change some of these footnotes for some times. of course words that have footnote are fix. for example 5th word has a footnote. but the place of this word in the page and among the pages maybe change.

if we can use the way such as mailing ...directory, or quick part ....field...styleref, that word read our data from another file (for example an excel file with one column from 1-14000) for fixed footnotes, it will be very useful.
is it possible?

of course maybe with vb programming it can be done.

in any case I would appreciate if you would accompany me to solve this problem.

Thanks a lot
