Define fixed font in Word document
Dear Community
I have a normal Word document (no form, no textboxes or things like that) and would like that a user of the document can only write in the document with the font "Arial", Size 11. After the user wrote a text, it shall be immpossible for him to change the font. "Arial" is the only font to use in the whole document. How can I do that? Do I have to use VBA? The user shall be able to format the text to "bold" and back. Thank you so much! Michael |

Use Word's editing restrictions to limit the Styles the user can employ (Developer|Restrict Editing>Limit formatting to a selection of Styles). Provided you define the Normal Style as 11pt Arial, then permit use of only the Normal and Strong Styles, that should achieve what you want.
