I copied some content from a friend's resume into Word. The content shows up with white space between each line. I've tried everything & can't figure how to fix/change it. It was originally typed in Times New Roman. Now, I have it in Dubai.

Seems The problem is in the Dubai font for an unknown reason. I switched to a different font and problem solved. I would still like to use Dubai if there's a way to make the paragraphs normal.

You might want to check the style formatting of the Dubai font. A simple way to do that would be to right-click anywhere in the Dubai text, then click on "Paragraph" and from the subsequent dialog box, check the "Spacing" Before and After (reduce the setting(s) to get your desired result).

That was the perfect solution. I changed the spacing to Exactly 12 pt., and it looks fabulous. I am doing a resume and want to be sure that employers can view it in the Dubai font?

Dubai is not a standard Windows typeface so it is unlikely to be installed on the machines of the employers who are opening the file. If you save the Word file in PDF format and embed the fonts they will see it the way you intended but otherwise you are going to have problems.

As Andrew suggested, you should probably change not only the Line Spacing but also the font for the document. Fonts that are not available on a machine where the Word document is being opened will be substituted by Word, and the end result may not be what you want.
