Heading 1 not centering
I created a multi-level list and linked the levels to the built in Heading styles. Heading 1 was supposed to be centered. When I click within the text of H1, the center button is selected and the ruler properly shows 1 inch margins on both sides. But the text is slightly left of center. If I click on the left-align button, the text jumps left, to a 1/2 inch margin, but the ruler maintains its position at 1 inch.

Centering text with autonumbering is somewhat tricky - where is the number meant to sit?
If you want the text centered, then you should have that level of the numbering separated from the text by a space instead of a tab. Then it will behave in a more predictable way.
