Calculated field with filename
Hi there,
I'm trying to add a field and get dynamic this field to split only a part of the filename : { RIGHT(GAUCHE(FILENAME;9);7) \* MERGEFORMAT } Sadly it doesn't work ... somebody have an idea ? Thanks a lot |

Word doesn't include anything comparable to a RIGHT or LEFT function of the kind you're trying to implement. There is no practical way of achieving what you want with field coding unless the file name is numeric.
