Colors not retained in shared template
I've created a template (on my PC) with styles, fonts, colors, etc. The end user has a Mac. The fonts are retained, but the spacing and colors have changed.
See images. The dark blue is my original. The light blue is how it displays on his computer. What am I doing wrong? Please and thank you. |

Neither. I have set customized colors.

What prints from each?
Word is primarily a program to put words on paper. What happens if you produce a pdf and send the pdf? Same color disparity? |

Those images are both from the PDFs. File > Save As PDF (then, save as jpg). He sent a screenshot of Word as well, showing the colors are off. What I don't understand is I've sent 3 templates, all built the same, and only this one is off. I even deleted the color scheme, and put in a new one, and still wrong. I might try recreating from scratch.

I need you to create a pdf on your computer and send it to him. What colors then?

As I said, 2 of the 3 docs are correct colors (matching his brand). I know those display the correct colors on his computer. I remade the template and just sent it to him again. If the colors are right this time, I'll write it off as a fluke.
I'll keep you posted. |
