Unhappy word coversion

i have a long handwritten theses and l need an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to help me convert it into soft copy document. All l have now if a facility to snap which gives me a jpeg image. Please can somebody with experience bail me out?

You'll need something far fancier than OCR to convert handwriting into anything other than images. OCR is ordinarily limited to converting typed pages - you need handwriting-recognition software.
