Default Creating a meeting protocoll with repetable content

Hi

I am creating a meeting protocoll. The history is that people in my work are good at having meetings but bad at making decisions.

So the solution is to have a table wrapped in repetable content. that looks like this.

1: "text"
Decision: "text"
who: "text" when: "text"

If I restrict the document with read only and add editable areas the problem comes if people press the plus and add a new section when they have already filled the first section. The new section contains the same text.

If I add text content control instead and restrict it with "filling in forms" I get another problem. The user can delete the text content control and then its back to the first problem.
If I add the property that the content control can not be deleted the user cannot delete that section if they wish.

Im not sure how I should solve this.

Any suggestions?

Anders

Look into using AutoText and training your users to use it.

  1. Select what you want to repeat.
  2. Press Alt+F3.
  3. Assign a name and save your AutoText in your template.
    Suggested name: MtgItem
Put in a description before typing if you wish.
You are using a template, not a document, right?
If not, you need to be.
    Templates in Microsoft Word
  4. You can now insert this by typing mtgi and pressing F3 or Enter.
This will work in any document created from your template so long as the document is attached.

That was a really nice solution that will be used alot for sure.

The problem I get now is that the editable ares are not in the new part even though they are there when I set the autotext.

The place where they are inserted needs to be an editable area.
