Word 2010 removing headers from pages with photos
I have several pages of photos at the end of several chapters in my book. I need to remove the headers (title, author and page numbers) from these pages. I do have these pages as separate sections, but when I try to remove the headers they are deleted from other sections as well. Note that I have different headers on odd/even pages.

This gets a bit complicated. Use a copy of your document!
Go into the header for the page you want deleted, that is in a separate section. Unlink that header from the previous section. Then, go to the header for the next section, and unlink that one as well. Then go back to the header you want to delete and delete it. Am I correct in believing that I then have to reset the headers for the following chapters? And must do that each time I remove the headers from the pages with photographs?

Yes, each time you remove the header for one section, you must first unlink the headers for the following section before you delete the header in the section with the photo.

Do I need to "unlink from previous" for each header on the photos pages? Or is unlinking from previous on the first page of the photos section all that is necessary? In the sections with narrative there is one header on the odd numbered pages, a different one on the even numbered pages, and no header at all on the first page. This is also what appears on the photo pages, until I delete the headers. But I am confused as to whether I need to unlink from previous for each of those headers before deleting. (I have been away, which is why I am just now getting back to you with this follow-up question.)

If you are going to delete a header in section 2, each equivalent header in section 3 must first be unlinked, or you are going to have to reproduce it in section 3.
The headers in section 2 must also be unlinked. |

Please read Header/Footer Settings Recap before asking more questions and let me know that you have read it if you do have more questions. (Your last question was answered there.)
