Default How Can I Change Formatting In All (New & Old) Word Documents

Hello, Forum:

I’m searching for a macro (I assume it would be macro, but anything that works is fine by me) to accomplish the following.

Any changes I make in Format/Styles/Heading 1 (for example)/Modify and then save as “New documents based on this template” appear in all future documents.

I want the changes to appear in all documents, including ones made previously, so all my documents to have the same formatting.

Thanks!

If you want to update a template's Style definition, simply choose the 'New documents based on this template' option when making the Style update.

If you want the changes to a template's Style definitions to propagate to an existing document based on the template, apply the 'automatically update document styles' option to that document (see under Developer|Document Template>Templates).

No macros required and you can be selective about which documents are updated.
