Yes, this is what I want. but I can not understand what you did in multilevel dialogue box.
The photo shows your file's multilevel dialogue box. Let me know what you did.

You cannot omit the heading numbers from the Table of Contents.

I feel like I'm joining this conversation a little late and don't know what has already been said in earlier threads.

You can't omit the heading numbers but you can position them off the left hand side of the page by adding a large negative indent to the first line of the relevant TOC style.

Getting rid of the page number is much easier

Guessed
I can not find where you mentioned to it. Where is 'indent' in relevant TOC Style.

There isn't one - you would have to add it. Even then, you'd have to use sufficient negative first-line indent to push the numbers off the page and a large-enough tab-stop to keep the rest of the heading properly aligned within the Table of Contents.

Another approach, which would be a lot more work, would be to break all the numbers and heading text apart into separate pargraphs, using the heading Styles for just the text and creating a different set of Styles with a similar format for the numbers. You could then use Style Separators to combine the numbers & headings in the document body, but only the heading text would appear in the Table of Contents.

I did. By right clicking on TOC and setting a large negative number for before text option (from Paragraph>Indentation).
I hope to do right? Am I right?

Apparently, though it seems you still have some alignment issues to address. Be aware, too, that this workaround will cause Word to report an error about text outside the margins if you print the document.
