Double Indent Paragraph
I'm working with a manuscript that includes a short "newspaper article." I want this paragraph to stand out, so I would like to have an extra left/right indent.
My document is full justified, so my desire is to have this paragraph come in an extra 1/4 inch on each side -- essentially, the margins of this paragraph would be different. I haven't been able to figure out how to accomplish this. I have used WordPerfect in the past, and there is a command to do exactly this. But I cannot seem to find a way to do it in Word. Can anyone please help me? Thank you very much. |

You can format a paragraph with both left and right indents, via Paragraph>Indents and Spacing. It's best if you use a specific Style for this, so that it becomes easier to maintain (e.g. changing the format for all headings at once).
