Using 'Find what-Replace with' dialog
I would like to change the double spacing to single spacing at the beginning of each verse in an entire chapter of scripture; I had to convert part of the Word doc to a .jpg via a screen capture in order to upload the rest of my post. For some reason it didn't show on the upload screen on your site as a .doc file. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 07-23-2017 at 06:50 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Find [space][space]
Replace [space] The [space] above represents pressing the space bar once. Note, this is what I regularly use when cleaning up text. It will replace every instance of two spaces with a single space. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 07-23-2017 at 06:51 PM. |

Thanks Charles; just what I needed. Will save me a lot of time over how I was doing it.
