It's work fine with docm, basically the docm file have headers and footers, the macro with a userform for data entry get the main text from about 100 .docx files by topic models and paste in this docm, do some merge with fields etc. save as docx and closes itself.

Hi, I know about AutoText, but it's not worth a lot for me, cause I use a lot o doc variables in the texts, like date calculation, value in write value (currency) in full, insert name of subscribers, set header content, change words according to gender, etc.
I don't know if I can do this all with AutoText. Also, it's much easier to manage, just go into a folder open a docx and change text, than working in word toolbar/menus. I always appreciate any ideas, and better aproachs. Thanks |

And I have already suggested having a separate user account for yourself from anyone else who uses the computer. That way all this messing around and the data risks it introduces wouldn't be needed.

Actually, I think I'm exaggerating with that concern. Anyway I liked to transfer my macro to individual docm. It has the advantage of greater ease of backup (no need to export modules/userforms, always backup together with the file) and management (eveything in one place, unmixed and interfering modules), but greater risk of file corruption/deletion/alteration.
