Default Shortcuts for Symbols

HELP: Can someone please tell me how, in Office Word 2003, to insert the symbol for 'therefore' which is a single dot centrally over a pair of dots. If joined they would form a triangle.

Insert > Symbol. I think 2003 takes you straight to a window that lets you select the font set. Select the font set "Symbol." The symbol you're looking for is about 4 rows down.
