Without knowing what you're trying to achieve, I can't comment on that. For all I know, you're using bookmarks quite unnecessarily.

I am working on a textmining application where we have to flag many words in the word document which are valid, But, some large documents might have many flags to be bookmarked hence we are facing some performance issue while inerting and deleting large number of bookmarks.

So why are you deleting the bookmarks after inserting them? Seems a wasted effort to me.

So why are you inserting them in the first place? This all seems very Heath-Robinson to me...

User uses the bookmarks to navigate while the document is open, we delete all those bookmarks while closing the document

You previously said the bookmarks had something to do with a textmining application, but you still haven't explained how the bookmarks are relevant to that, especially since you then go about deleting them. I fail to see why you'd need them for navigation purposes, either.

Besides, if you close the documents without saving changes, you don't need to delete the bookmarks.
