Default Header from Potrait to Landscape

I am working in Word 2007 and have set up a header and footer. These look great and wonderful. The first page is a potrait layout. Now on the second page I have change it to landscape and now the header an footer are no longer centered on the page. Any advise on how to solve this issue?

I suggest using a different header footer for first page option

it is called "Different first page"
under
Header, Footer Tools - Design
