How to set 'Blank Document' to standard size
I use Word 2016 on a Mac with macOS 10.12.3 (Sierra).
In the Mac's System Preferences my default paper size is set to A4, portrait orientation. But, apparently as a result of creating a number of A5 (landscape) documents, when I now open Word and choose 'Blank Document', it opens as an A5 (landscape) document. I realize that I can create a new template to get round this, but I wonder if there is any way of persuading the native Blank Document option to revert to its original A4 (portrait) form. Should I try to locate the Word preference files in my user's library and delete them? |

Hi!
You must open your Normal.dotm file. Do the changes you want. Save and close Word. That's it. Souriane |

How to Open the Normal Template
Make sure that you open it. Do create a new document based on it. |
