Default Page template: text at the side

Hello

I'd like to recreate a page template in Word which I already created in InDesign. The header and footer are more or less clear to me, but I don't know how to put some vertical text at the side of the page. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

For that, you'd use a textbox anchored in the page header, with the textbox text rotated.

Thank you!
Is there any way to place a text field precisely at a certain position an to set its exact size not by mouse but by numbers?

You can put something pretty much anywhere you like & apply whatever formatting you want with VBA, but your question is too vague for me to know whether that would be of any benefit.

I attached a test page with a header and a "side bar".
1) I'd like the bitmap logo precisely at the right border.
2) I'd like to keep a long line of text in one line without breaking it by changing the space between letters and words
3) I'd like to change size of the text field at the side automatically regarding to the actual text and to place it at an exact top/left position

You can position your logo wherever you want it. Do be aware, though, that positioning it 'precisely at the right border' is liable to result in it being cut off by most printers.

The text can be made to all fit on one line by scaling the font. With your sample, arbitrarily scaling it to 49% will get it to all fit on one line. A more flexible approach would be to insert a single-cell table for that text and use the table's 'fit text' option for the cell.

See attached.
