Default Linked Text Boxes in Word & 'Continued on...'

In Word, is it possible to have 'continued on page...' & 'continued from page...' in the linked text boxes as in Publisher?

In a word, no.

Default Text box 'continued'

Thanks for the reply. I wonder why 2016 Word doesn't have it? I guess its too complicated for their programmers.

Hardly. As you already noted, Publisher -also produced by Microsoft - has it. More likely it's a design decision. Word is, after all, intended to be a word processor, not a page layout program.

If you think the feature should be added to Word, you could make a suggestion at http://word.uservoice.com/.
