Default Building Blocks / Quick Parts

I am creating a template with Building Blocks, which I am trying to organise logically.

If I choose the save some text or an image to the Building Blocks library, it seems that I need to highlight the content, choose save to Quick Parts and label it etc.

However, I don't really want everything under Quick Parts but want to add things to another Gallery such as Cover Pages.

I can do this fine, but I can't see how to rename these building blocks (I can rename the category but not the Gallery, and I cant create new Galleries) so, for example, there are Galleries already there called Custom 1, Custom 2 etc which I can't seem to rename to something sensible.

Am I going mad or is there really no way to rename a gallery from generic terms like "Custom 1" to something relevant.

You can use the named custom galleries and can also use the numbered custom galleries, but no, you cannot rename them. You can name categories within any gallery. Each built-in gallery has a separate custom gallery.

If you are sharing your building blocks you want to store them in separate templates rather than in the generic one.
Where can Building Blocks be stored?

Default Nope

I don't believe there is a way of renaming the galleries. They all have built-in constants for each one so it would be bad if you could rename them.

It appears I was wrong - disregard what I said and read on

I've been using Greg's Add-In for years but forgot that can rename a gallery. I would advise against renaming any of the built-in galleries but you should be fine renaming any of the custom galleries. Keep in mind, though, that the named custom galleries retain the attributes of that kind of gallery.
