Removing a strange object from a document
Hello.
I am editing a manuscript and in the document a blue box, that is definitely an object is inserted on the right hand side of the page adn the text wraps up against it and the only way to remove it is to physically move it out of the document. It links to an an anchor in the document. I cannot copy and paste into a new word document as the anchor comes and thus the box. Does anyone have an idea what this box is and how I go about removing it? Thank you |

If you can move it then surely you can delete it?
If not, can you post a sample of the document that demonstrates the problem?

Can you select the anchor (or the anchored paragraph) and cut it?
Is the document protected in any way? Is the anchor or the blue box sitting inside a content control that is protected for deletion? Select the paragraph where the anchor sits and look to see if the Developer Tab > Controls > Group > Ungroup is available. If it is, ungroup it and then you should be able to delete it.
