Default settings - HELP
I need no paragraphs or spacings in my word 2010.
I have... 1) Changed style --> 2003 --> set as default. This is gone when I open a new document and I am back with spacing and paragraphs of 2010 version 2) Edited the heading "normal" to be w/o paragraph and spacing. I have pressed OK to "new documents based on this template". This is gone when I open a new document and I am back with spacing and paragraphs of 2010 version 3) Options --> Advanced --> go to bottom and choose "Lay out this document..." and chosen 2003 instead of 2010 This is gone when I open a new document and I am back with spacing and paragraphs of 2010 version I don't GET why it won't save my default settings. I want to remove the paragraphs and spacings, but I can't figure out how to effing do this. I mean, MS Word used to be simple. What the effing happened? I hope someone can help. I am going crazy. |

The problem is probably a poorly-written Add-In that is blocking your saving changes to the normal template.
Add-Ins in Microsoft Word A work-around is to open the Normal Template then make the changes there and save the template. |
