Default Word 2013 Registry Edits - Update Automatic Links at Open

I'm trying to find the Registry Key in Windows 7 for Office 2013 to disable the 'Update Automatic Links at Open'

Would anyone know if that can be set in the Registry? I thought it was possibly here, but couldn't find the right one.

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Word\Options And I saw to references to links there of "DontUpdateLinks" and "NoActivateOleLinkObjAtOpen", but when I change/toggle that in the actual word settings, it appears that is not the right keys.

Thanks
Paul

My Word 2013 registry does not have a setting for "NoActivateOleLinkObjOpen."
I do not have an answer.

Paul Edstein (macropod) put together the most comprehensive list of storage locations for Word settings that I know about. It is in this forum as Word 2007 & Later Key Data File Locations. It does not cover this, though.

That's interesting that you don't see that same registry key. Are you using both Windows 7 and Office 2013? We do use Win7 Enterprise 64bit.

But i'm still trying to search it out. Google hasn't been much help yet. It would just save a bunch of time to push/disable that to all work machines then having to change it manually.

I'm using Windows 10. I'll check on a Win 7 later if someone else hasn't answered.
