Putting borders around images and their associated captions
I'm writing a document in which the figures have captions. In order to make it easier to immediately discern which caption belongs to which figure, I'd like to have borders surrounding each image and its associated caption. Is there a quick way to achieve this that doesn't involve manually dragging rectangle shapes around the images/captions? |

You might be able to do something by adding frames to the caption style, but it would be hit or miss if it worked at all.

Doing this automatically is probably not going to work, as Charles wrote. What you can do is insert the picture "In line with text," put the caption in the paragraph below it, select both of them and then wrap a frame around them. You can use the Insert Horizontal Frame command which you can add to the Quick Access Toolbar (File | Options | Quick Access Toolbar).
