Default Microsoft Word 2008 on MAC OS, Shrink to fit(text in cell, not page) Help!

I am trying to figure out a way to shrink the text inside tables on Word 2008 installed on my MAC OS. I want to shrink it to fit the cell size, which in excel is listed as "Shrink to Fit" but I am trying to figure out how to do this on Word 2008 for Mac. Any help would be great! Thank you!

In Word, the option is called 'fit text' and on a PC it's found on the Table Properties dialog, under Cell>Options.

I looked in the table properties under the Cell Tab, and it only shows "Wrap Text" button, there is no button under it where the "Fit Text" should be. Does the Word 2008 version for Mac not have this included because it is so old?

I doubt this has anything to do with the age of Word 2008 - PCs have had this option since the 1990s. It's possible Macs, as such, don't support it, so it isn't provided on that platform.

Thank you Sir, I figured this could be the case, much appreciated. Maybe Open-office or something else would have the feature I need.

It may also be that on Word 2008 the function is found somewhere else. I don't use a Mac, so I'm unfamiliar with its Word GUI.
