Default Forms...Cross-Reference - Spell Check

I am designing a form that has a few repetitive information areas. I want to set up the form so when the information is answered on the first page through a drop down menu, the answers will show throughout the form in the needed areas.

For example:

Page two I have a drop menu with a few options and which ever item is picked I want to show up on the last page.

If I pick any other options in the drop down menu on page 2, last page stays at the first option shown in the drop down menu.

Does the cross reference work with only a text box and not a drop down menu?

I am also wondering if there is a way to enable the spell check when a form is locked.
