Hyperlink blue color dissapears
Windows Word 2013
Getting closer understanding hyperlinks. When I hit a hyperlink to test it within a Word 2013 document, it works perfectly, jumps to the correct location, except: The blue color disappears. Therefore, after I click on the hyperlink, there is no longer a visual guide that it is still hyperlinked, which it is. |

After you follow a link, the character style on that link is changed to 'Followed Hyperlink'. In most templates this is purple and underlined but perhaps not in your document.
You can either apply the the 'Hyperlink' character style to your link again or maybe open Internet Explorer and clear your browsing history to restore the colour.

In Word, the appearance of a hyperlink before it has been clicked is controlled by the Hyperlink character style. Similarly, the appearance of a hyperlink after you have clicked it is controlled by the FollowedHyperlink style. In other words, you should modify the FollowedHyperlink style so that it is the same as Hyperlink.
