Default Duplicate Line Displayed

In MS Office 365 (Word 2013) as I type a long document, often the display shows the last line in duplicate and I cannot get rid of it without saving, quitting and restarting. I have disabled the accelerated video option in Word and it still happens. Does anyone know how I can stop this behavior. It only happens in Word. I am on a Dell 2330 All-In-One PC running Windows 8.

Try updating your display drivers - they're often the cause of this behaviour.

Default tried everything

I have downloaded the newest video driver from Dell and installed. I have done a truly clean reboot in win 8 with all startup items turned off. Nothing keeps the duplicate line from appearing periodically. When it appears it is after completing a paragraph and kitting Enter to start the new paragraph. It only happens every day or say, but always after hitting Enter at the end of a paragraph. Then the last line is duplicated in the display without me entering any test. If I delete the previous line then remaining last line is shown as a duplicate. the only to stop the display behavior is to save, quit and restart. then it si fine until it happens again. It only occurs in MS Word 2013.

Hi Larry,

I've been away for 3 1/2 months, hence the delay in replying.

The most likely cause remains the display driver, even though you've updated it. It's also possible, but much less likely, that updating your printer driver will help.
