Default Different Headers on different pages

I have searched and tried numerous times to try putting a different header on the three separate pages but I cannot get it to work. If someone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Im trying to use the Alphabet Header format and on page one read 9500 RSM Drawings, On page two the header to read 9502/9503/9504 Magazine Drawings, and on page three 9517/9518/9519 Magazine Drawings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Keith

A Section in Word has three different headers - a first page header, an even pages header and a primary header. If you configure the page layout to use both a 'different first page' and 'different odd and even', then temporarily insert two page breaks (e.g. by Ctrl-Enter), you can then access each of these three headers.

Look into dictionary-style headers using the StyleRef Field. You shouldn't even consider different-first-page and different even-and-odd until you have checked this field out. For a three-page document they will work OK but if you have more than that, you will be adding sections and very much complicating your ability to edit your document.
